Date: 26 October 2025
Location: M4, Durban – from Moses Mabhida Stadium to Umhlanga
Durban came alive this past weekend as thousands of cyclists hit the M4 for Cycle Sunday Durban 2025 – a vibrant community event that celebrated fitness, family, and fresh ocean air. The M4 was transformed into a cyclist’s paradise, stretching from Moses Mabhida Stadium all the way to Umhlanga, with riders looping back to soak in the city’s iconic coastal views.
From competitive cyclists clocking in training laps to families riding side by side with their little ones, the energy along the route was electric. The laughter, the cheers, and the rhythmic sound of wheels spinning across the tar created an atmosphere that truly embodied Durban’s sporting spirit.
Ezebreathe: Helping Durban Breathe Better, Perform Better
As proud participants and supporters of the event, Ezebreathe joined the ride to champion one of the most overlooked elements of endurance performance – better breathing. Our nasal strips, designed to improve airflow by up to 38%, are trusted by athletes, runners, and wellness enthusiasts across South Africa.
For many cyclists, maintaining a steady rhythm of breath can make all the difference during endurance rides. That’s exactly why Ezebreathe was there – helping riders experience what it means to breathe freely and perform at their best through every kilometre.
A Celebration of Community and Movement
The beauty of Cycle Sunday was that it wasn’t a race – it was a celebration of unity and inspiration. Riders of all ages and experience levels took to the open M4, enjoying the rare chance to pedal freely along Durban’s coastline without traffic or pressure.
From families riding together for fun to full-time cyclists using the event as a scenic training session, the morning captured what sport in South Africa is all about – togetherness, health, and fresh coastal air.
Ezebreathe was proud to be part of the experience, sharing in the energy and connecting with the Durban cycling community. Events like this remind us why we do what we do: helping South Africans breathe better, live better, and stay active in every season of life.
This is why we’ll continue to strive to be involved in many more events like Cycle Sunday in the future. Community is at the heart of who we are as a brand – it’s part of our culture and something we’re deeply committed to growing. Being present, giving back, and contributing to the spaces where South Africans come together is what inspires us most.
So, watch this space – Ezebreathe will be joining more local events soon as we continue building a brand that breathes with its community.
Special Thanks to the Organisers and Partners
A huge shoutout goes to the incredible teams that made the day possible – CycleLab and Peschel Sports – for pulling off a world-class event that brought the Durban cycling community together in such a powerful way.
Their dedication, coordination, and enthusiasm ensured the event ran smoothly and safely, allowing riders to focus on what mattered most – enjoying the ride, the scenery, and the spirit of movement.
